God's Seasons Of Life
As winter evolves, it stands as a reminder that like the seasonal changes we see, life, too, is subject to many changes. Life's ever changing seasons should not leave us in despair, but rather we should take heed to the many glorious, biblical stories that offer sufficient, Godly instructions on how to overcome and survive all seasonal changes.

The storms of life are only for a season. The Gospels record how GOD's peace is with you everyday. (Matthew 14:22-31, Mark 6:45-51, Luke 8:22-25, John 6:16-21)

Unlike the seasonal changes in the weather, we have the permanent assurance of our Father.

  • His word is forever - Psalm 119:89
  • His word never changes - Hebrew 13:8
  • He does not change - Malachi 3:6
  • His promise of peace and a future of hope - Jeremiah 29:11-14
  • In His presence we will neither hunger nor thirst again and God will wipe the tears from our eyes. - Revelation 7:16-17

Often, we attempt to understand what should remain a mystery. The Lord's ways are beyond our finite understanding. We know not what tomorrow has in store for us, we must thank and trust the Lord that He is working on us. Even in our trials and tribulations, although not pleasant, when we continue to persevere and believe on His promise, He will bless and reward us (Hebrews 12:11). The book of Ecclesiastes records many of the seasonal life changes we can expect and shows some of these changes are better than others. God's word promises a constructive and fulfilling life when we apply His truth to every situation (Eccelsiastes 12:13).
